Before you start
A few good
questions.
What is Maestro?
Maestro is a workspace for you and your AI team. Chat with your Maestro, plan projects, delegate tasks to agents and keep the work together on shared boards. The desktop app runs agents on your computer using the AI accounts you already have.
Is Maestro free?
Your first workspace is free forever: up to 3 people, up to 7 agents and 2 GB of files. AI provider accounts are separate. See pricing and larger team plans.
Do I need the desktop app?
Use desktop to run agents in your project folders. The browser and iPhone app let you chat, review plans and follow your team. Sign in with the same Maestro account everywhere.
How do I install on a Mac?
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag My Maestro into Applications. Open it and sign in. The app supports Apple Silicon Macs (M1 and later); Intel Macs can use Maestro in the browser.
Installing the Windows beta
Beta version 0.31.14 supports Windows 11 on Intel and AMD 64-bit PCs. Installation, sign-in and starting an agent have passed an internal smoke test. Broader compatibility testing and code signing are still pending.
Open the downloaded .exe and follow the setup steps. This beta is unsigned, so Windows may show “Unknown publisher” or a SmartScreen warning. If you downloaded this installer from maestromojo.com and want to continue, choose More info → Run anyway when Windows offers it. If your PC blocks installation, use the web app or ask your IT administrator.
Updates are manual. Return here for a newer Windows installer. The Mac and Linux release version is separate. Verify the SHA-256 checksum or contact support.
Installing on Linux
Download the AppImage, make it executable and open it. Or use this installer for Ubuntu 24.04 and similar 64-bit Intel/AMD systems. It installs for your user, with automatic updates.
curl -fsSL https://maestromojo.com/downloads/mymaestro/install.sh | shPrefer a package? Download the .deb. Linux ARM is not supported; use the browser instead.
Can I use Maestro on Android?
Yes, in your browser. The native Android app is coming soon. The iPhone app is available on the App Store.
